You've never sewn before or it's been ages?

Do you have respect for sewing machines, cutting fabric, thread, needles and sewing in zips? That will soon be over!

We will familiarise you step by step with the craft of sewing. Sewing, tailoring and designing your own clothes is easier than you think - and it's great fun!

Under professional guidance and in a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn the sewing basics cut by cut, seam by seam and realise your first project - a sophisticated cosmetic bag.

All participants do the same thing and are at the same level.

Thanks to the small groups of a maximum of 6 participants, there is enough time for everyone and no one is left behind or has to wait too long.

Course days

Saturday (1 full day) 09:30 -12:30 and 13:30 -16:30

Tuesday (2 afternoons) 14:00 -17:00

Friday (2 afternoons) 14:00 -17:00

You don't have to worry about anything in advance, you don't have to buy anything, you will receive the necessary materials from us including a starter kit with the most important sewing utensils!

You don't need your own sewing machine as you don't have to make anything at home.

Price

1 time 6 hours or 2 times 3 hours CHF 180.00

Including starter kit worth CHF 30.00

So that you are properly equipped and don't have to worry about anything, we will provide you with the necessary sewing basics such as fabric, thread, thread batting, pins, sewing needles, zip etc. for your first sewing project at the start of the course.

Introduction to the most important functions of the sewing machine

Familiarisation with various tools and aids

Basic sewing knowledge: material science, thread flow, fabric break, cutting, thread lay, hand and machine hems, seam joining, sewing in zips.
